1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using GameRot (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Using the app
GameRot is free to use. You may play all games without creating an account. Creating a profile is optional and gives you a persistent identity on your device.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
- Use automated means to manipulate scores
- Use the app in a way that breaks any applicable law
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
3. Your account
If you sign in with Google or Apple, you are responsible for keeping that underlying account secure. We never handle your password. You may delete your GameRot account at any time from the profile screen, see Delete Account.
4. Scores have no monetary value
Scores in GameRot are a gameplay element only. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be purchased, sold, exchanged, redeemed, or transferred, and are not gambling or a wager of any kind. There are no in-app purchases.
High scores are stored on your device. They may be lost if you uninstall the app, reset your device, or delete your account, and we cannot restore them.
5. Availability
The app is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its name, and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These terms do not grant you any right to use our branding.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including lost game progress.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
